This documentation is for Google ChatBack Live Support Plugin for Joomla. Consist of Installation Instruction, Uninstall Instruction and FAQ.

Installation Instruction

1. Just download the Module Click Here.
2. Go to Joomla Admin Panel.
3. Menu Bar -> Extensions -> Install / Uninstall.
4. In Upload Package File click "Browse" button.
5. Choose the Module Downloaded.
6. Click "Upload File & Install".
7. Now go to Menu Bar -> Extensions -> Module Manager.
8. Click the Module name "Google ChatBack Live Support".
9. Enable the Module, Choose the display position and enter the "tk code" or "Google ChatBack Code".
10. Click Save or Apply button.
11. Now the Plugin is activated.

Uninstall Instruction

1. Go to Joomla Admin panel.
2. Menu Bar -> Extensions -> Install / Uninstall.
3. Click Module in that page.
4. Now Check mark the Check box for "mod_questionkit_googlechatback".
5. Now Click Uninstall button.

Upgrade Instruction

1. Go to Joomla Admin panel.
2. Menu Bar -> Extensions -> Module Manager.
3. Click the Module name "Google ChatBack Live Support".
4. Copy the tk_code value(Optional). If not copied means need to get a new tk_code Value.
5. Proceed with Uninstall Instruction and then proceed with Install Instruction.

Upgrade from Plugin(1.0 to 4.0) to Module(5.0)

1. Go to Joomla Admin panel.
2. Menu Bar -> Extensions -> Module Manager.
3. Click the Module name "Google ChatBack Live Support".
4. Copy the tk_code value(Optional). If not copied means need to get a new tk_code Value.
5. Menu Bar -> Extensions -> Install / Uninstall.
6. Click Plugins in that page.
7. Now Check mark the Check box for "Google ChatBack Live Support".
8. Now Click Uninstall button.
9. Proceed with the Install Instruction.

FAQ:

1. How to get Google ChatBack Code or tk Code?

Ans: 1. Go to http://www.google.com/talk/service/badge/New

2. Login Using your Google Account.

3. You can see a code display at the bottom of the page.

4. In that copy the tk value alone.

5. Paste the tk value in the plugin.

6. Plz look the Screenshot below.

2. Displaying the Bad Request Error 400?

Ans: 1.The tk_code or Google ChatBack Code you have entered must be wrong.

2. For Example the code I have entered which was generated by google for my google account is "z01q6amlq8d4kkb2gu7bbgaq5lsnb2l6pr47p4e4mirmmo1grb0rqb3hk2gd4vq7r6revs8qokb6fjlnq5n2d6uh1j22b2pnqo2jk76
g029p4k2s5cfuj8116aidlpihd5qv56i9pkpai7r5j8kgud3jmv6vi0aa17raafjee". your code should also look like the above one with out double quotes. Mostly google generate the code with starting z01...
